The hotel
The intimate layout of our 16 rooms in Puri Madawi guaranties a quiet and relaxing atmosphere. This gives us the ability to truly cater to the individual needs and desires of our guests. The Restaurant
Placed under a large Balinese pagoda right next to the pool, the restaurant is able to cater to all of your culinary needs. Open daily from 07:00 until 23:00 it serves selected creations from around the world as well as Indonesian specialities. A smaller snack menu with many favourites is also available during the day.
Have a cold beer with friends at our pool bar in the afternoon or enjoy a cocktail at our beautiful restaurant bar before dinner. As a special treat for our guests our a la carte breakfast is served until 13:00h. On request we organize weddings or other private functions in the hotel.
The garden
The lush tropical gardens of the Puri Madawi feature a large variety of palms, orchids and other rare and exotic flowers. Beautiful stone sculptures of the Balinese Ganesha, overgrown arches of sand stone and lotus basins create a peaceful atmosphere.
In the heart of the Puri Madawi lies the lavishly designed swimming pool, without a doubt on of the most beautiful on the island. Created using only hand-picked marble and granite from Indonesia and Italy, the pool is surrounded by a belt of black lava stone and equipped with a small waterfall, child section and swim-up bar for all to enjoy.
Bungalows
These beautifully designed rooms are build in an expansive round shape creating a large bedroom with an adjoining out-door bathroom. Golden grass roofs and Indonesian artefacts create a cosy atmosphere that all will enjoy. Bathing amidst tropical ferns in the open shower is an unforgettable experience which is a homage to the long held Balinese tradition of cleansing the body and soul by the riverside.
Suites
The Suites are designed with a unique concept to maximize your privacy and comfort. These 2-storey units feature an open living room filled with original art work and comfortable lounge seating for up to 4 persons. Guests may enjoy their breakfast served in their living rooms overlooking the tropical gardens and swimming pool.
Stepping through a Balinese double wing door, a wooden staircase leads up to the bath- and bedroom. The bath room offers a blend of cool marble and many lovely details. Through the bathroom one can also access a small out door area with a picturesque water fountain and tropical plants. Upstairs, the Suite bedroom is a romantic haven of tasteful decoration enhanced by magnificent lighting effects in the golden grass roof.
It is an unforgettable experience to lay down below the softly woven net of natural cotton in our handmade bed to a good nights sleep.
The Extra Suites
The Extra Suites are designed with a unique concept to maximize your privacy and comfort. These 2-storey units feature an open living room filled with original art work and comfortable lounge seating for up to 4 persons. Guests may enjoy their breakfast served in their living rooms overlooking the tropical gardens and swimming pool. Upstairs, the Extra Suite bedroom is a romantic haven of tasteful decoration enhanced by magnificent lighting effects in the golden grass roof. The Extra Suite room is available with double beds only. It is possible to accommodate up to 2 children on extra mattresses inside the reading niche. Therefore the Extra Suite can accommodate up to 4 persons.
